My Name is Sandra Cante, I am an educator who has a passion and a drive to see all students achieve personal success and reach their potential.  To ensure that my passion and drive are apart of my everyday life, I work, volunteer, and serve in areas of my community that not only create opportunities for students to achieve personal success but I also help create policies and practices to ensure student's can attain personal success.

Some of the things  I do to live out my passion 

I am a wife and mother of two boys with one on the way 

I work as an Education Specialist and serve students with Moderate to Severe needs in the third through sixth grade 

I volunteer in several organization like Little League and PTA to provide enrichment and extracurricular activities for children

I serve as a Trustee on my local school board 

What I love to Do

Teaching is simply what I love to do,

I believe teaching is more then just sharing knowledge it's also about giving students something they can use and take with them for the rest of there life.  What I love about teaching is that it is a challenge that causes teachers to turn content and standards  into something tangible for every level of student.  This challenge is not easy because no student is alike.  However, there is no better feeling for a teacher then finding that right strategy, technique, or activity that makes your students get it and use it.
